Ocean Edge guests love being located on the Cape Cod
Bike & Rail Trail, a 26-mile spectacular journey
that begins in Dennis, through Ocean Edge in
Brewster, and extends all the way to the
National Seashore.
Bike rentals are available at the Bay Pines Tennis Shop on the Mansion side. On season, bike rentals are also available next to the Reef Cafe on The Villages side.
You can pick up the
"bike trail" as it is known, at The Villages at Ocean Edge near Briterige Village. The historic trail is a
haven for bikers, walkers, and joggers, dotted
with plenty of opportunities to visit other
beaches and ponds, or to grab lunch or an
ice cream cone. Bike rentals are available upon request and weather permitting in the off-season.
Ocean Edge has put together a number of biking itineraries for the novice and advanced biker, with routes around the town of Brewster, or all the way to Ptown. Please view these bike itineraries here.
At Ocean Edge, we make it easy for
you to take advantage of the bike trail. Bike
rentals and helmets are available at the
resort for all ages as are baby buggies that
attach to adult-sized bikes and tandem bikes
for kids too young to keep up. The bike trail
is safe for strollers as motor vehicles are
