Ocean Edge offers family friendly and kids activities during the summer season, beginning Saturday, June 25 through Saturday, September 3, 2011. Pick up a complete activities guide at check-in, or check out our activities schedule below. To participate, please remember to bring a valid Membership or Resort Guest card for every member of your party. We've pulled out some of our favorites below, so you can start planning!
Junior Sport Camp
Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club offers a 3-day Junior Sport Camp for Juniors ages 6 - 15 years. This fun camp includes instruction and competition in golf and tennis. Each activity is taught by certified instructors. Golf Members, Guests of Golf Members, Sport Members and Resort Guests may participate in these camps. Camps operate Tuesday through Thursday. Summer Lunches with the Brewster Whitecaps
Mingle over lunch at the Reef Cafe, with team members from the Brewster Whitecaps. Meet MLB's next baseball greats, and don't forget baseballs and gloves for autographs. Whitecaps lunch at the Reef Cafe: Tuesday, July 5th, Monday, July 11th, Tuesday July 19th, Monday July 25th, and Tuesday, August 2nd from 12-1pm.
Ocean EdgeVenture
Kids ages 4 to 9 experience a little bit of everything the Resort has to offer.
Explore and interact with other kids with games, crafts, swimming and more.
Bring a bathing suit, towel, sun block and a hat to each session.
Our half-day program is $55 per child and runs from 9:00am to 1:30pm and the full day session is $80 per child and runs from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Lunch is included.
Space is limited and 24-hour advance registration is required. Parents or
guardians are required to sign a waiver for each child each day they are registered.
EdgeVenture starts on Tuesday, June 28 through Saturday, September 2, 2011;
Tuesday through Saturday 9:00am to 1:30pm and Friday 9:00am to 4pm (half day is also available). Members receive a 15% off rates.

S'mores Family Beach Fire
One of Ocean Edge's most popular family events and a chance for the whole family to kick off their shoes, take in the sunset, and hang around the beach fire to make friends and s'mores. Beach fire lights at sunset (approximately 8pm) every Thursday evening on the Bay Pines Beach and lasts 2 hours. Take shuttle to Bay Pines Beach path.
Mudflat Mania
At low tide, explore the notorious Brewster flats at the Bay Pines Beach with naturalists from the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History and learn about the world of marine invertebrates. Wearing water shoes and carrying pails and shovels, we will walk the sand bars, mudflats and tidal pools to find and observe marine animals living there - clams, worms, crabs, sea cucumbers and other sea life.
