Freedom to flat-out love Brewster Flats

Cape Cod Beaches

The Brewster Flats, our beloved local beaches, are ranked third among America's Most Beautiful Coastal Views by Travel & Leisure. Gentle surf, soft sand, and warmer water beckon, with a shoreline that changes dramatically every few hours, stretching nearly a mile into the Bay at low tide.

Low tide reveals tidal flats and smooth sand bars, great for power walking (sturdy enough for baby joggers), wiffle ball and exploration, including oyster farms and hunting hermit crabs and minnows by the bucketful.

At high tide, the Flats again transform, allowing excellent swimming and Stand Up Paddleboarding. Gradual elevation changes make water entry and exit easy.

Brewster Beach Pass

From mid-June through Labor Day, guests may purchase a Brewster Beach Pass for $15/day or $50/week. The pass provides parking access to six beautiful Brewster beaches and two freshwater Brewster ponds. Passes are not needed during the off-season or after 4:00 pm in-season. (Please note, only guests staying at The Mansion have access to our private Bay Pines Beach.)

Crosby Landing Beach Shuttle

From mid-June through Labor Day, enjoy complimentary shuttle service from The Villages at Ocean Edge Resort to picturesque Crosby Landing Beach, just down the road.

Bay Pines Beach

Bay Pines Beach and the Beach Bar at The Mansion are reserved for guests staying on the Mansion side as well as for Ocean Edge Club members, Memorial Day through Labor Day. Towel, chair, and food and beverage service is provided. Off season, all guests have access to the beach.

Cape Cod National Seashore

The great Outer Beach of the Cape Cod National Seashore delights with protected sandy beaches, marshes, ponds, and uplands that support diverse species and stretch all the way to Provincetown.

Just a short drive or a half-day bike trip from the resort, you’ll experience higher waves, cooler water, sand dunes, lighthouses, landscapes, and wild cranberry bogs. The National Seashore includes six swimming beaches, 11 self-guided nature trails, picnic areas and scenic overlooks. Some beaches (such as Marconi Beach) feature full bathhouses and changing areas.
