The Creative Arts Center in Chatham presents its Holiday Gifts & Small Works Sale on Friday, November 23rd at 10 a.m. through Tuesday, December 11th, 4 p.m. Children can make holiday Candy Lighthouses for free on Friday and Saturday, November 23rd and 24th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Creative Arts Center is located at 154 Crowell Rd. in Chatham. Lighting of the Lobster Pot Tree

The Lobster Pot Christmas Tree is an annual holiday tradition in Provincetown! A unique lobster pot tree is built each holiday season the heart of the town’s Lopes Square, stacked with over 100 real lobster pots borrowed from local lobstermen. Lighting at 5:30 pm.

Santa Stampede 5K and Family Fun Run

Join the Stampede! A family-friendly event for all ages. Professionally timed for serious runners and good fun for everyone else. Run or walk in your best holiday costume and win a prize! Kids also get their own ‘Mini Claus’ Run. Afterwards, join the post-party and awards ceremony at the Barley Neck Inn, with prizes for the fastest runners and most creative costumes.

    –  Most exciting, perhaps, is the return of Ryder Martin’s electric trains, filling the entire Main Gallery with local scenes, landmarks and, of course, trains! The display will run during museum hours every Friday and Saturday, December 7 – 29, from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

First Light Provincetown stretches the New Year’s celebration into a fun-filled weekend December 28-January 1!  Highlights of the town-wide holiday extravaganza – which is set against the festive backdrop of the illuminated Pilgrim Monument – include a spectacular fireworks display, craft fair, New Year’s Dance Parties, live performances and the New Year’s Day Polar Bear Plunge (followed by a warm-up Chili Party).

First Night Chatham

Come join us for First Night Chatham! We are a family-friendly, alcohol free, town-wide celebration of the arts with over 70 performances and events.  December 31st, 2017 will be First Night Chatham’s 27th New Year’s Eve celebration. It’s a full day of fun and entertainment, starting with the Town Photo at the Chatham Lighthouse at Noon, and culminating with Fireworks at Oyster Pond at the stroke of midnight.
