Pet-Friendly Options
Your pet is part of your family; why not bring them with you on vacation? Give your best friend a special treat, and spend your days exploring Cape Cod’s numerous dog-friendly beaches and trails. And when it comes time to turn in for the night, your pup will relax in comfort; we provide plush bedding, food and water bowls, and plenty of treats.

Dogs are allowed on this 22-mile Trail. Offering paved paths and multiple parking locations, the Rail Trail runs adjacent to The Villages and can be accessed via the connector path by the Britterige Guard Shack. Dogs must remain leashed, and should be kept close due to the number of bikers and walkers on the trail.
Pet-Friendly Parks Located on an acre of land where dogs can run free and socialize off leash. There is a general dog section and a section exclusively for small dogs under 25 pounds. The park is home to many beautiful sculptures and structures donated by local artists. Continuous improvements to the park are made possible by the generous donations of our donors and sponsors.

Dogs are welcome at numerous locations, including beaches outside of lifeguard-protected areas. Please note that dogs must remain on a six-foot leash, and are not allowed on the Coast Guard Beach Shuttle, in posted shorebird nesting areas, or in other designated areas.
Pet-Friendly Beaches Dogs are not allowed on public beaches from April 1 – Labor Day.
Pet-Friendly Beaches Dogs and other pets are not allowed on public beaches, tidal flats, landings, or public ponds from May 1 – October 1.
Pet-Friendly Beaches Dogs are not allowed on public beaches during the summer season; however, a selection of ponds and conservation areas remain dog-friendly throughout the year. Please note that these areas may be closed due to shorebird nesting.

Pamper Your Pup A dog utopia for you to pamper your pup. This facility offers an array of services to meet all of your dog’s needs including: Dog Daycare, Overnight Care, Training & Behavior offerings, Spa Services and a Boutique. The spa experience includes a deep rinse using a shower massager, your choice of organic shampoo, conditioner, warm towel and blow dry. Your dog will return to you squeaky clean and looking good.
