What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is 4:00 PM; check-out is 11:00 AM. Early or late options depend on availability. See our Reservations Policies at https://www.oceanedge.com/reservations-policy for details.

Is a credit card required at check-in? Is there a hold?
Yes. A credit card is required, and an incidental hold is placed; the amount varies by stay length and room type. Learn more in our Reservations Policies.

What is your cancellation policy?

What is your deposit policy?

What are the front desk hours and who do I contact after hours?
Front desk service is available 24 hours a day at The Mansion.

Is tipping required or included?
Gratuities are discretionary unless specified on a package or event contract.

Do you allow smoking on property?
All rooms and indoor spaces are non-smoking; designated outdoor areas are available.

Are you pet-friendly?
Yes — Ocean Edge welcomes pets in designated Arbor Village accommodations only. These pet-friendly units are limited and must be reserved in advance by calling 774-323-6191. Pets are not permitted in Mansion Guest Wings, Bay Pines, or Village villas outside Arbor Village.

Is the resort wheelchair accessible and do you offer ADA rooms?
Yes—ADA-accessible rooms, routes, and parking are available. Please note any accessibility needs when booking.

Getting Here & Around

What is the closest airport?
Barnstable Municipal Airport (HYA) is about 25 minutes away. Boston Logan (BOS) and Providence (PVD) are about 1.5–2 hours from the resort.

Do you offer transportation to/from airports or train stations?
We do not offer a scheduled airport shuttle, but our team can help arrange private car service or taxis.

Is there on-site parking and what are the fees?
On-site self-parking is complimentary for overnight guests.

Is there a resort shuttle?
Yes — a complimentary resort shuttle operates daily from mid-June through early September and on select weekends and holidays during the off-season. The shuttle connects The Mansion, Villages, Golf Course, Beach, and Front Lawn. Shuttle times vary by season.

Weather & Seasons

What is the weather like throughout the year?
Cape Cod experiences four beautiful seasons. Summers can reach the 90s but are typically 10 degrees cooler than Boston, making it the perfect seaside escape during heat waves. Dress in shorts, t-shirts, dresses, polos, and light layers. Fall brings sweater weather around mid-October—ideal for golf and biking. Winter calls for cozy sweaters, parkas, and boots, while spring is mild and fresh—think lighter sweaters and convertible outfits for shifting temperatures.

What types of rooms, suites, and villas do you offer?
The resort features Mansion Guest Rooms and Suites near dining and amenities, plus spacious one-, two-, and three-bedroom villas with kitchens, living areas, and private outdoor spaces.

Which accommodations are best for couples, families, or groups?
Couples often choose Mansion Rooms or Suites. Families, friends, and multigenerational travelers love the one-, two-, and three-bedroom villas for their space and amenities.

Dining & In-Room Options

Where can I dine on property?
Dining options include Ocean Terrace, The Roscommon Room, Bayzo’s Pub, Linx Tavern, The Beach Bar, The Front Lawn, and seasonal venues. Hours vary by season.

Do I need reservations for dinner?
Reservations are recommended for Ocean Terrace, The Roscommon Room and Bayzo’s Pub, especially on weekends or holidays.

Do you offer in-room dining?

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Absolutely. Please inform our team in advance or your server during meals.

Pools, Beach & Recreation

Do you have pools?
Yes—multiple outdoor pools (seasonal) and a heated indoor pool at The Mansion. Both The Mansion at Ocean Edge and The Villages at Ocean Edge offer indoor and outdoor pool access.

Is the beach private?
Yes—guests enjoy exclusive access to the private Bay Pines Beach on Cape Cod Bay.

Golf, Pickleball & Fitness

Do you have a golf course?
Yes—the Resort features a championship Nicklaus Design 18-hole golf course. Tee times can be reserved through the Golf Pro Shop.

Do you have pickleball?
Yes—six dedicated pickleball courts with clinics and open play in summer, and lessons year-round.

Spa & Wellness

Does the Beach House Spa offer massages and treatments?
Yes—a full menu of massages, facials, and beauty services is available.

Do you offer wellness experiences or retreats?

Family & Kids

Do you offer children’s activities?
Yes—seasonal crafts, beach games, and family programming are offered throughout the resort. Low tide mini golf, tie dye classes, bear factory, cornhole and much more.

Are babysitting or nanny services available?
This service is not offered by the resort, but trusted partners can be arranged through the concierge.

Activities & Experiences

What activities are available on property?
Guests enjoy biking, tennis, pickleball, golf, lawn games, fitness and wellness classes, beach fires, kayaking, standup paddleboarding, and more.

Can the concierge arrange off-property excursions?
Yes—our concierge can assist with local dining, shopping, or sightseeing reservations.

Do you offer seasonal programming?
Yes—signature events in the sweater seasons (Fall through Spring) include National Oyster Day, Oktoberfest, the Festive Forest, Wizarding Week.

Which accommodations are best for groups or multigenerational families?
Our one-, two-, and three-bedroom villas at The Mansion and The Villages are perfect for groups of friends or families traveling together. Each features spacious living and dining areas, full kitchens, and private outdoor spaces — ideal for entertaining, relaxing, and reconnecting. Consider The Charm on Main, our sister property that consists of 20 rooms. Buy out the entire estate for your family or large event.

Can you pre-stock rooms or villas with groceries or beverages?
Yes—contact our concierge before arrival for pre-arrival stocking or celebration setups.

Do you offer private chef experiences?
