Cultivating Presence: A Yoga Retreat into Stillness & Self with Corina Benner

Join Corina Benner for Cultivating Presence, a weekend of yoga, meditation, contemplation and spaciousness to connect with the eternal present moment. Especially during times of transition it’s easy to get caught up in reverie for what has been and uncertainty about what will be. During our time together we will practice abiding in the continuously unfolding present moment, slowing down the apparent movement of time and savoring the vividness and immediacy of embodiment.

There’s plenty to savor at Ocean Edge Resort with luxurious accommodations, a private beach, indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center, and stunning views of ocean and sky. Your program includes (4) practice sessions, beautiful accommodations, 6 delicious, healthy meals, a welcome reception, use of the facilities plus a spa credit and a floating sound bath. Revel in early autumn on the stunning peninsula of Cape Cod and come away centered within yourself and ready to meet the last 3 months of the year with curiosity, confidence and delight.

About Corina Benner

Corina (E-RYT 500, YACEP) has been teaching yoga since 1999; took her first yoga class in 1992 and spent most of her childhood standing on her head. She sees yoga practice as an incredibly efficient vehicle for vibrant good health on all levels of being, and strongly believes in the simple, profound power of breath and movement, stillness and silence. When combined with intention, attention, courage and perseverance this recipe awakens people to vibrant vitality, strength and serenity, clarity and confidence, and the possibility of deeply enjoying their experience of being alive.

As a yin and vinyasa yoga teacher Corina focuses on awakening students’ inner-teacher: connecting them with their innate wisdom, strength, resilience and fortitude, and reminding them how amazing they are. Her cheerful demeanor, positive vibrations and contagious optimism empower students of all levels to practice with enthusiasm, while her detailed instruction, poetic language and intelligent sequencing create a safe space for students to explore the landscapes of their body, mind, heart and soul. She received her initial vinyasa training with Cyndi Lee at OM Yoga Center in NYC; learned all-things-yin from Paul Grilley, and has collaborated with Yoga International. For 18 years she owned and operated Wake Up Yoga, one of Philadelphia’s OG yoga centers, and is now supremely content being a free agent. While she may have actually saved a few lives during her decades + as a yoga teacher, mostly she prides herself on helping to bring people back to life.
