Kyung Lee Named General Manager of Ocean Edge

[PRESS RELEASE]

Experienced Hotelier Returns to New England Ahead of Summer Season

BREWSTER, MA – APRIL 2026 – Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club has appointed Kyung Lee as its new General Manager. In this role, Lee will oversee all resort operations, lead department heads, and work to grow revenue while improving the experience for guests and members alike. His priorities include strengthening the resort's food and beverage offerings and wellness programs, with the broader goal of making Ocean Edge a top destination for families, couples, corporate groups, and weddings.

Lee brings nearly 20 years of hospitality experience and deep ties to Massachusetts. Most recently, he was Hotel Manager at Hard Rock Hotel NYC, where he achieved strong occupancy and revenue results. Before that, he served as General Manager of Gurney's Resort & Seawater Spa in Montauk, NY.

His New England roots run deep. He was part of the opening team at The Langham Boston, where he helped relaunch the culinary program and earned the hotel a spot on Condé Nast Traveler's Hot List. From 2017 to 2020, he was Director of Food & Beverage at Chatham Bars Inn, where he launched an organic farm and developed the resort's wedding and leisure programming. Earlier in his career, he held culinary and leadership roles at Wylie Hotel & Conference Center, InterContinental Boston, and The Charles Hotel, among others.

"Ocean Edge is truly a New England gem," said Lee. "I'm excited to bring new energy to our restaurants and bars — giving each one its own distinct personality — and to build on the resort's already strong wellness program. My goal is for guests to feel completely at home here; a place to unplug, reconnect, and come back to themselves. Whether that's a beach day with the family, a round of golf, or an afternoon at the Beach House Spa, I want everyone to leave feeling refreshed."

This summer, Ocean Edge offers its signature mix of coastal luxury and Cape Cod charm across 429 acres. Highlights include a private beach, multiple pools, tennis, pickleball, the Beach House Spa, and the Cape's only Nicklaus Design golf course. Dining options range from waterfront fare at the Beach Bar and Ocean Terrace to casual spots like Bayzo's Pub, Linx Tavern, and the Front Lawn — which comes alive in summer with lawn games, local beers, and light bites. The wellness program features the award-winning Beach House Spa, year-round retreats, rotating fitness classes, a new infrared studio, and health-focused dining throughout the resort. Resort offerings are further enhanced this summer by the addition of The Charm, an exclusive adults-only retreat.

"Kyung's track record in food, beverage, and hospitality — combined with his knowledge of Cape Cod — made him stand out," said Suzanne Corcoran, Owner of Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club. "He's committed to making wellness a true centerpiece of the resort experience. Whether it's our retreats, a couple enjoying golf and a spa day, or a corporate group balancing meetings with healthy meals and pickleball, this new direction will be a great fit for everyone who visits.
