The Boston Globe Found Our Charming Side

Look who made the news.

The Boston Globe recently featured The Charm on Main, Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club's adults-only sister property in Brewster, in a Cape Cod travel story by Diane Bair. The feature followed Diane's stay at the inn and explored the appeal of visiting Cape Cod beyond the height of summer.

We’re delighted.

Surprised? Not particularly.

Meet the Quieter Side of the Neighborhood

The Charm on Main offers a different way to experience Brewster.

The historic property has been reimagined as an adults-only boutique inn with 20 individually designed guest rooms. Before becoming The Charm, the property served as Sea Pines Camp, the Sea Pines School of Personality for Girls and, later, the Sea Pines Inn.

Today the mood is intimate, restful and unmistakably Cape Cod.

The Charm on Main in Brewster

Think time to linger. A little history. A fire pit beneath the pines. Quiet spaces that make doing absolutely nothing seem like a perfectly legitimate plan.

The Charm was deliberately positioned around the intimacy of a boutique stay, with a sense of history, place and personality all its own.

Small inn. Big charm.

Then There’s Everything Down the Road

Here’s where Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club comes in.

Guests staying at The Charm on Main also have access to Ocean Edge amenities. The Boston Globe's coverage specifically highlighted the fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis and pickleball courts, and private beach.

It's a pairing that gives travelers permission to change their minds.

Quiet morning at the inn? Perfect.

Ready to get out and play? Also perfect.

The relationship between the two properties was created to bring together boutique intimacy at The Charm with the broader resort experience available at Ocean Edge.

In other words, you don't necessarily have to choose between the little inn and the big Cape Cod experience.

You can have both.

A Different Kind of Cape Cod Stay

The Boston Globe feature frames The Charm on Main as a home base for exploring Cape Cod in the fall, while also calling attention to the property's own experiences, including its fire pit, outdoor pool and cooking classes.

And that's really what makes the connection between The Charm and Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club so much fun.

One day can be active. The next can be gloriously lazy.

Golf. Bike. Explore Brewster. Head to the beach. Find something good to eat. Return to The Charm and settle in for the evening.

Or ignore that entire list.

Choice is sort of the point.
