It’s Not About Getting Serious

There’s a misconception that instruction is only for advanced players. In reality, it’s the fastest way to improve at any level. Beginners pick things up correctly from the start. Intermediate players start to understand why certain patterns aren’t working. More experienced players refine the edges like timing, placement, and control. A good coach meets you exactly where you are and shows you what to change, not everything you’ve done wrong.

The Small Shift That Changes Everything

It might be a softer grip, a better position at the net, or a different decision on the third shot. Small things, easy to miss, but impossible to unsee once someone points them out. According to USA Pickleball and leading instructors, most improvements come from positioning and shot selection, not power. Once that clicks, the game slows down. You anticipate better. You stop forcing points. You start staying in them.

A Special Package to Get You In a Pickle (in a good way)

Our Rally + Restore Pickleball Package allows for you to give your game a kick start (and kick back afterward). Whether you have never played before or really want to elevate your soft game skills, this package helps you find your rhythm. You play, refine, apply it in open play, and then step away from the court entirely to reward your efforts with a little pampering.

 “Most players don’t need more time on the court. They need small adjustments. That’s usually all it takes to change the way the game feels entirely.” Todd Zukowski – Pickleball Pro, Ocean Edge {approve quote}

The Kitchen, the Third Shot, and the Part of Pickleball Everyone Gets Wrong

Pickleball has a reputation problem. From the outside, it looks like a simplified version of tennis, only on a smaller court, slower ball, something you pick up casually and play without much thought.

From Backyard Game to Global Obsession: The Real Story of Pickleball

Pickleball started in 1965 on Bainbridge Island, when Joel Pritchard, a Washington state congressman, returned home with a group of friends and nothing to do.
