Meet Executive Chef Noah Gumustekin:
A New Culinary Chapter at Ocean Edge
Ocean Edge Resort and Golf Club is pleased to welcome Noah Gumustekin as Executive Chef, bringing nearly three decades of culinary experience spanning luxury resorts, fine dining restaurants, and internationally acclaimed hospitality brands.
Throughout his 29-year career, Noah has held leadership roles with some of the world's most respected hospitality companies, including Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, The Ritz-Carlton, Loews Hotels, and Movenpick Hotels and Resorts. Along the way, he has helped launch multiple restaurants, mentored countless culinary professionals, and developed a reputation for combining elevated dining experiences with operational excellence.
Born and raised in Turkey, Noah's culinary perspective has been shaped by cultures and techniques from around the world. His specialties in Turkish, Italian, and Japanese cuisine reflect a deep appreciation for both tradition and innovation, blending authentic flavors with modern creativity. A graduate of the Tokyo Sushi Academy, he brings a globally inspired approach to every menu he develops.
But ask Noah what defines luxury dining, and his answer is refreshingly simple.
"Luxury isn't about being expensive. It's about consistency," he says. "Whether we're serving breakfast for two or a banquet for five hundred guests, every plate deserves the same attention to detail."
That philosophy will guide Ocean Edge's culinary vision as Noah leads dining operations across the resort's restaurants, events, and catering experiences.

For Noah, hospitality has always been about more than food.
"Food creates memories," he says. "For us, it's another day in the kitchen, but for our guests, it could be one of the most important moments of their lives. We're not sitting at the table with them, but through our food, we're part of those memories."
As he settles into Cape Cod, Noah is particularly excited about the opportunity to showcase New England's incredible ingredients.
"Ocean Edge offers an incredible opportunity to showcase New England's amazing ingredients in one of the most beautiful coastal settings," he says. "I'm excited to create experiences that celebrate fresh seafood, local farms, and the changing seasons while giving guests a reason to come back again and again."
Guests are already beginning to experience Noah's culinary influence across the resort.
At Ocean Terrace, Noah recently introduced the Sunrise Lobster Roll, a creative take on a New England classic featuring lobster salad, soft scrambled eggs, crispy capers, pickled red onion, and fresh chives. The dish reflects his passion for elevating familiar ingredients through thoughtful technique and unexpected combinations.
Meanwhile, at Linx Tavern, guests can enjoy the new Lobster Bake, a celebration of coastal flavors featuring lobster tail and claws, scallops, shrimp, roasted corn, cherry tomatoes, and fingerling potatoes. Inspired by the abundance of local seafood and the beauty of the Cape's summer season, the dish showcases Noah's commitment to highlighting regional ingredients while drawing on culinary influences from around the world.
These early additions offer a glimpse into Noah's broader vision for Ocean Edge, one that honors New England traditions while introducing fresh perspectives and memorable dining experiences throughout the resort.
Welcome to Ocean Edge, Chef Noah.
