First Things First: Pack Like a Wizard 

Before you arrive, be sure to pack: 

• Your favorite Harry Potter book (you’ll want it) 

• A cozy sweater or robe for fireside reading 

• Something warm for exploring the grounds 

• A little house pride (colors encouraged) 

Pro tip: carve out time to visit Brewster Book Store while you’re here. It’s a local favorite and the perfect place to pick up a new magical read or a companion book for the ride home. 

The Magic Begins: Daily Wizarding Week Activities 

Wizarding Week is packed with hands-on experiences inspired by a wizarding world you love, spread throughout the historic Mansion and Carriage House. 

Get Sorted 

Start your journey with the Sorting Ceremony, where you’ll meet the Headmaster and discover your Hogwarts House. House pride is highly encouraged and may come in handy later in the week. 

Choose Your Wand 

Every wizard needs a wand. During Wand Making, you’ll decorate and personalize your own, ready for spells, adventures, and a little imagination. 

Perfect Your Potions 

Step into Potions Class, where bubbling brews and magical mixtures await. This fan-favorite class is equal parts creative and delightfully mysterious. 

Magical Creatures & Keepsakes 

Create magical souvenirs to take home, from owl companions to dragon eggs and feathered Golden Snitches. These hands-on crafts make perfect keepsakes from your Wizarding Week stay. 

The Wizarding World Hunt 

Explore the resort during the Wizarding World Hunt, searching for hidden magical objects throughout the Mansion. Prizes await the most determined witches and wizards. 

Evening Entertainment 

As night falls, test your knowledge during Wizarding Trivia or try your luck with Magical Games of Chance, our spin on Bingo. It’s a fun, family-friendly way to end the day. 

Movie Nights in the Common Room 

Each evening, gather for wizarding movie screenings that are cozy, communal, and perfect after a full day of magic. 

Cozy Up with Magical Treats & Themed Dining 

No wizarding experience is complete without indulgent treats. Throughout Wizarding Week, guests can enjoy butterscotch-beer–inspired sips, chocolate frogs, and wizard-themed dinner specials at Bayzo’s Pub.

Explore the Magic of the Mansion & Carriage House 

Wizarding Week unfolds across Ocean Edge’s historic Mansion and Carriage House, originally built in 1890. With winding hallways, grand staircases, and cozy corners, the setting feels tailor-made for wizarding adventures. 

And while we can’t confirm anything officially, some say a few friendly spirits still linger in the halls. Call it history. Call it atmosphere. Call it magic.
