Meet Our New GM, Kyung Lee

At Ocean Edge, we’ve always believed hospitality should feel personal. Warm. Relaxed. With tons of character, but quietly humble in the best way possible. 

Which is why we’re excited to welcome Kyung Lee as our new General Manager. 

Kyung’s resume spans some of the hospitality industry’s most recognized names—from The Langham, Boston and Hard Rock Hotel New York to Chatham Bars Inn and Gurney's Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa. But spend five minutes talking to him, and what stands out isn’t luxury. It’s people. 

It’s the way he talks about his kids digging through tide pools on the Cape. Or how a simple coffee and croissant shared with employees in the kitchen can change the entire energy of a workplace. Or how the best resorts aren’t the ones trying hardest to impress you, they’re the ones that make you want to come back. 

For Kyung, returning to Cape Cod wasn’t just a career move. It was personal. “This is a place I want to live,” he shared during one of our first conversations. “A place where my kids can grow up making memories.”  

So, if you see Kyung (he asks that you not call him Mr. Lee, naturally), stop and say “hello.” He’ll most certainly want to greet you and welcome you to the Ocean Edge family. He’s already an important part of ours.
