The Calm the Stress & Shift Your Habits Retreat at Ocean Edge

What if calm isn't something you hope for, but something you practice?

Most of us carry stress the way we carry our phones. Everywhere, and mostly without noticing. This fall, Ocean Edge is setting aside a weekend to put it down for a while.

A weekend with Nora Fenner

Calm the Stress & Shift Your Habits runs October 30 to November 1, 2026, led by Nora Fenner. Nora spent years in communications before realizing yoga and mindfulness were what she kept coming back to. Today she's a 500-hour Kripalu yoga teacher, certified yoga health coach, master Reiki practitioner, and sound practitioner, and creator of Embodied Vibes.

Her style is welcoming and down-to-earth. No pressure, no perfection. Whether you are new to yoga or years into a practice, there's room for you here.

You'll leave with:

▪ Simple tools for everyday stress
▪ A clearer read on your habits
▪ A calmer nervous system
▪ Practices that keep working after you get home

How the days unfold

Friday starts whenever you get here. Come early for the spa, then a welcome reception, dinner, and an evening of restorative movement and intention setting to help you land.

Saturday opens with gentle movement, meditation, and reflection. After lunch, the afternoon is wide open. Spa, beach walk, nap. Your call. Later, sound meditation and journaling, then dinner and a floating sound bath to close the night.

Sunday, one last practice. Check out at noon. The spa is yours until 4.

"Some of the most meaningful moments happen during the quiet pauses," Nora says. And Saturday is Halloween. Skip the costume. Come as you are.

Fall, bay side

Late fall on the Cape has its own kind of quiet. Cooler air. Emptier beaches. Sunsets that set over the water, which is rarer on the East Coast than you'd think. Between sessions, walk the Brewster Flats, warm up in the indoor pool, or settle into a corner of the Mansion for the afternoon.

The details

Each package includes all sessions with Nora, a welcome reception, two breakfasts, Saturday lunch, two dinners, the floating sound bath, a $125 spa credit, and access to the private beach, pools, and fitness centers. Taxes and resort fees are already covered.

Calm doesn't need a whole season. Sometimes a weekend by the bay is enough to start.
